This absolutely great variety reminds a lot of another amazing variety, Trepadeira Werner. This variety has also thick flesh, even a little bigger pods which mature to orange. Champion

Champion

C. baccatum

A mild, very tasty variety I have grown since 2003 almost every year. Has only a mild pungency. The taste is best when used before fully maturing. Just pick these pods just when start to turn into yellowish orange and you'll be amazed of the taste. One of the greatest mild varieties when picked at the right time! Let it ripen and it's still good, but more like ordinary mild pepper.

Very prolific and easy-to-grow variety.

Congo, Yellow

Congo, Yellow

C. chinense

A yellow version of the legendary Congo Pepper.

This one has a very powerful C. chinense aroma which makes even classic habaneros taste like bell peppers compared to this one.
There are not enough adjectives to compare the aromatic qualities of this variety.

And then, we get to heat... this is extremely hot variety which gets a rating of ten from a scale of 0-10.
The heat level is not up to where Moruga Scorpion and Naga Morich etc are.
But the heat type is one of it's kind. Very raw and barbaric but still gentle in a way that it's hard to explain, It has a pleasant rise and end.
Highly recommended fr habanero-lovers. If you haven't tasted habeneros, this one is the one to try at first!
Ideal as a bonsai / bonchi plant.

Black Naga

Black Naga

C. chinense

Rare and special, dark colored version of Naga. The taste and smell is amazing and it resembles blackcurrant. The heat level is above horrible which means that you should really be ALARMED before biting your teeth into this little beast! Somehow the heat level is still pleasant, not piercing needle-like heat. It gives a great overall extreme warmth all over your mouth. After the heat evaporates, this one gives you a powerful endorphin rush so don't be alarmed to feel a little dizzy afterwards.

The plant is very beautiful and grows well in pots. Very vigorous plant for a chinense which doesn't care for a little neglect.
