What do these icons mean?
These icons give you basic idea of the plant sizes you are browsing.
That might be useful as you might have a limited space to grow your chilis.
Also keep in mind that chilis respond very well to cutting and trimming as needed for limited space, so don’t be afraid to try out larger varieties as well.
General rule of pot sizes for these plants could be something like:
1-5 liter pot for small plants. Around 10L for medium sized plants and 15-20L for large plants.
Also, take the fruit size in consideration when choosing the pot sizes.
For bonsai growing and ornamental type growing or overwintering you can always go with much smaller pot sizes.
Remember, these are a general rule of thumb recommendations for pot sizes as different varieties can vary quite a bit with their root space requirements.
