This variety is not fully stable yet so expect some variation from this phenotype and choose and continue breeding the best plant individuals!
This variety is one of the best looking chile peppers there is. When filled with mature pods, it looks like a plant holding candies. Besides being quite hot, they look just amazing with purple-green color when immature and purple-pink color when mature. Just look at the pictures and see for yourself, a real eye-catcher. A great baccatum bred from an accidental cross I grew years ago. My dear chilihead friend Chris Fowler grew many different phenotypes during a few years and this one is one of those. These large pods are very tasty as you would expect from a baccatum like this. The actual cross is most likely between Jamy and Kalaidoskop chili peppers. The plant is super prolific and quite large in size, still not too big plant for a C. baccatum. Great for stuffing!
